Mt. Charleston Photos

Did a trip up to Mount Charleston last month. We did the South Loop to Trail Canyon Loop. It started out as a beautiful day, but ended in a rather scary T-Storm. Lighting and thunder while we were hiking on the seemingly endless Trail Canyon trail as our descent. We ended up going straight down through the trees and cross countried our way back to the road just to get off the ridge we were on.....enjoy the photos

really nice photos. I'd like to get out there, I've had Charleston on my mind for the next time I'm in vegas.

What's the mileage / total elevation gain for the hike?

Good stuff, bro. I've tried twice (both in April) but have been stymied by heavy snow. One these days I've got to get back out there.
