I had plans to go on a long hike but after blue said the desert wasn't the place to be I decided to go complete this hike I tried earlier this year. Turns out it doesn't matter where you are, The heat is on!

In the wintertime the desert is wonderful for hiking even though it still has waterless issues then. But right now you don't even want to get out of your car, much less walk any distance to it. Hiking in this is nothing to even consider, Glad you didn't come out here, hope to see you here in the fall though FO.

if it's not scary I could do it. bushwacking doesn't bother me. I need to get a smaller streamline pack. sounds like a superman training route to me. :D

actually Triplet is probably less bushwacking that Big Horn ridge, but more rocks and unstable terrain. so I guess you should try BHR to Baldy :D
