I know it is hotter than blazing saddles in the desert but anyone going up this weekend?

Skyline will be hot, but you have Vivian permits, right? Vivian will be cool all the way up and most of the way back down...

We have guests coming in from out of town, but I'm hoping to get a run in somewhere along during the weekend. Right now I'm up in the air, but if you're going to be up on San G, I might be able to run into you there if I do the ridge route that's been calling to me! Or maybe a few of us could bust out a quick Vivian run?

I'd be interested in a Vivian Creek hike this weekend if i could tag along on someone's permit. But i'm not a runner so i'd just be doing hiking pace.

i can hike Friday morning-have to help my mom Friday afternoon, family reunion on the 4th.
I am still contemplating where to hike that friday morning.
was thinking skyline 330 or vivian, would have to do it early. what i would really like to do is that dobb's short cut but i would never do that solo, the second time around because i don't know it.
when were you guys thinking of hiking?

Frankly, since it's a holiday and the hordes will be out i wasn't planning any hiking. Except maybe a short one in the desert foothills near Palm Springs. But if someone's doing a good hike somewhere i might be persuaded to tag along. ;-)

Howdy All :)

I'm off to Lone Pine. We'll drive up tomorrow and day hike Mt. Whitney on Friday. Lance nevers suffers enough on Mt. Whitney  so he'll drive us back Friday night.

Bless you all and please stay safe this weekend.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen
