Never got one, Only time I saw one on me was on the Santa Paula Peak Trail.
It was on my gaiter. Maybe those little ticks know who purchases and carries them! 8) but if I ever do.... I'll twist and twist and twist!

and another thing... What are you doing up at 2:47 am?
don't you know you are supposed to get at least 7 hours sleep every night?
how are you going to feel waking up on the trail some day and finding yourself a half a mile short and 10 minutes over the 24 hours of your X6 summit of Baldy? huh?

Well basically I want to do a traverse including Islip, S Mt Hawkins, Mt, Hawkins, & Copter Ridge so don't want to take too many miles between ACH and Mt Hawkins if not necessary. Maybe it won't matter much either way but I figured I could cut off a mile or two (3 miles for 1000 ft gain is a bit much).

sleep writing are we?
time to say bye bye to valdez, bro.
