we are to zip. very much.

really gonna miss you in the morning , weather should be perfect.

hope you guys have a nice day tomorrow. it's kind of funny, Kathryns b-day is this tuesday and I know she'd much rather be on the trail than anywhere else. and heck, all I have to get her are some retreads.

Bring? I left that out of yesterday's post. Eric is a great baker, so we'll go for something in that category. It might even survive in the car during the hike! :D

I should be able to make it. Might have to attend a conference in place of my supervisor in San Francisco the previous week, getting back Friday night June 26 (heck, I might just stay up there for the weekend and climb the hills around the City!). I'll know the week before, June 19 at the latest. Probably bring something 'generic' at the grocery store since I'll be driving from Orange County.

Hey Zip,

Looking at the list of food so far, I've noticed something...meat and carbs only!!
Therefore, I'll bring a salad. Steve can bring the beer, "real" of course. I hate to disappoint- but I won't be bringing the trail bacon in a baggie!

I'm hoping this unsettled weather pattern that is affecting the Sierra will have moved on by the weekend of June 26th, so I'll be heading north that weekend if the weather allows. Unfortunately, that means I won't make the group hike and after-hike event.

Get together?

Postby Halohiker » Wed Jun 10, 2009 3:52 pm

Hi!

I'm still thinking I may like to join you guys, but I'm not sure when I'll be off the trail. Can I be a tentative for now?

Cheers!
Liz

Come on Ladies. Guys are the ones usually having commitment problems.

Tina, Liz, what's your schedule looking like now?

If anyone is in contact with those who are out there on the trail but not always online (like maybe Scott, or Maria and her husband, or any of the Skyliners) please invite them.

Incidentally, while we're at the get-together, we should set a date for the next one. Just a thought - that way we've always got one in the works.
