Was hoping to take pictures of clouds, not be swallowed up by them! Pictures / mapImage

Some really nice shots there, especially on pages 14 and 15. 24 miles is a solid day, are you becoming a trailrunner! Incidentally, my hands are always cold too, even when I remember my gloves.

OK...the guy with the dogs (not Kirby) needs to get some off-road roller skates !

I agree with zip, those are nice shots, I like the headless obilisk.......or is that you FO ? You really need to show up at zips gathering, just wear a mask, dress like the Lone Ranger and nobody will pull it off. Better yet, borrow your friends dress, wig, glasses and boots, nobody will be able to see the real you.

Oh boy a cross-dresser eating barbecue and drinking beer....I'm bringing my camera just in case.

big elevation difference! The trail gains 18 feet in 24 miles! (that's nine inches per mile!!

I can't run, last time I ran I stepped in a hole.

I think it's 53.
But there is good/bad news!
The trail actually starts or ends at Baden Powell, not at Vincent Gap!
The bad is I still have to walk the extra 4 up or down either way!

mary jane users don't bother me as much as cigarette smokers.
I actually passed by a 64 year old man a mile from the bp summit. yep, he was SMOKING! (cigarettes)
Remind me to tell you about our, conversation...
his son in law took my self portrait. :D
