just like having a baby (i hear)...i don't remember it being that bad last time... so i'm going to try c2c again.

i'm looking at a 4ish start from the museum--hoping to get up to the tram in around 6 hours, then on to the peak, before staggering back to the tram for a beer i.v. anybody interested?

stinkpot (if that is your real name!)- yep, the full monty.

no rush, i just want to give myself time to finish in a reasonable time. plus, the faster i can get to shade/cooler weather--the better life will be. also, i'd like to get back for some of the lakers game. see ya out there.

btw- my friend got chewed by flies w/ me on skyline last weekend (dozens and dozens of bites). can anybody recommend a product that will discourage them? the flies, i mean--my friends are already discouraged...

Yeah, I'm doing C2C on Sunday. Will be starting between 4 to 5:30am, probably. Going to try and do the Skyline portion in under 5 hrs.

Hi Doug, glad to see you are going to attempt the full monty. I won't be doing the full c2c, next week i plan on doing the 9 peaks in san bernardino and the following weekend going for c2c again. with that being said i have to try to save my legs a little...:)
However, I will be doing skyline tomorrow so i will see you on the trail. i plan on leaving around 530ish. not sure if i am going up tomorrow for speed yet. if i do i will say hello and then meet you at the top of skyline and walk with you over to the sidewalk.
i look forward to seeing you on the trail.
:)
