I was also a little concerned about the lightning. It was very close right when it started to hail but it got better. It was very windy near the top just below the last switchback but at the top it was very calm. I figured I'd keep going and just see how it went. Thankfully, it went wonderfully.

I need to remember to always carry Vodka. Firestarter, antiseptic, sleep aid and mixes well with Tang. I don't know if I can count on it being in the Survival Box the next time I get there.
