I'll PM everybody with directions to my house this week. For those coming from the desert, I'll include the short route (camino corto) I had mentioned before.

June 27th, 2009, going up San Bernardino Peak Trail. Meeting at Mill Creek Ranger Station at 6:00 a.m. to drive up to Angelus Oaks together.

Who's coming? Bringing anything?

Walt and Jean -------------- Q or Jambalaya or (yummy!) squash and carrot slices
Cy ---------------------------- fresh fruit
Kathryn and bluerail -------- salad, bonk breakers, world class beer
Phydeux --------------------- something generic from the grocery store
Ellen ------------------------- molasses wheat bread/ deadly chocolate chip peanut butter cookies.
Tina -------------------------- sweets and chips
AlanK and Eric -------------- something in the "baking" category
Bettie, Paul and Dave ------ dessert of some kind
Stan ------------------------- fajitas, beer, chips, m&m's
Mark--------------------------deli(cious) food

For anyone who's a "lurker" out there, if you're on the trail, you're part of this group too! Post now, so you don't get stuck waiting til the next get together!

Sounds good to me. What is your address and directions on how to get there?
Is anyone carpooling or meeting at the Mill Creek ranger station.?

were both in zip...I'll bring Bonk Breakers and pansy beer....sounds like my favorite kinda weekend ! Kathryn will have her backpack, do I need to say anything else ?

....seriously, will figure out what were bringing.

Zip, we'll either bring something BBQ'd or maybe a big pan of Jambalaya. It will depend on how much I weigh the day before. Worst case scenario is squash with carrot slices. :cry:

Me (Bettie), my husband Paul, and Uncle Dave would like to join the hiking party! Is there still room? If so, count us in! I'd love to bring a dessert of some kind, or anything anyone suggests...

AlanK and Eric: I look forward to meeting you two after all this time talking online! I've had a couple of people mention arriving at maybe a slightly later time, so I'm going to go with your suggestion.

Everyone: I'm going to start editing my initial post so you can open the thread and see who's coming and what they're bringing. I'll PM everyone with directions to my house in the next few days.

I'm really looking forward to getting together!
