Mt San Jacinto - April 11th

Hi. What is the Devil's Slide like at this time of year? Is there snow on the trail? I was planning on heading out just to hike for a bit. Do I need anything special?

Update: We took the tram up last Friday late-afternoon and made it to Round Valley around 6:30pm. The snow really started coming down and we quickly found a spot to camp near the trees (we couldn't find any established campsites as the snow on the ground was thick). That night the wind was howling and we got about 7-8 inches of fresh powder. The next day the trails were covered and we didn't feel the urge to break trail up to SanJac so we decided to call it a day and head home Saturday morning. We had a great time even though we didn't make it farther than RV.
