Where did you hike this week end

I was just wondering where everyone hiked this week end since there are so few trip reports. I just went part way up Skyline much later than usual after hiking up the tram road first.

On Friday I hiked Baldy via ski hut trail and up west side through the trees. Lots of snow coverage above the hut but did not use crampons or axe, just hiking poles. There were many footprints and the snow was hard and crusty in the morning so the prints were like a staircase going up. Really windy on top and cold but amazing clear day. Coming down the snow got soft and slushy fast and it was a boot ski back to the hut.

Lots of folks going up as I was coming down, some with skis. The snow was melting fast so it was good to get in some snow fun before it's gone.
