By sunday night I'll have walked 25+ in the Santa Rosas. I'm sure my neglected muscles will get a little workout. :D

Heres my daily weekday "rut" http://bluerail.smugmug.com/photos/swfp ... mKey=BeLXt

25 plus in the Santa Rosas? Cool. You must be taking the Art Smith all the way to PS. What great terrain. Several palm oases, expansive views, solitude. Just what I like on a hike.

Oh wait. You don't mean you're doing laps on B&G, do you?

I actually went there today because my kid had to do it for a school assignment. I posted a few of my own pictures on my blog. I doubt I'll go back again this year.

I am hoping to do the West Fork in PS on Monday to the Needle's Eye so I'll have some pics of what a real hike looks like then.

no Hal I don't mean laps on the B&G...Lq To Horsethief on Gaudalupe (and back) on Sat...Martinez Canyon to alta seca bench today.

Am I sensing a tad of self- righteousness ?

I'm done, this isn't why I'm here.

Two pretty cool hikes. Got any pictures?

No self-righteousness, really, just jealousy. I wish I had weekends off with no kid responsibilities to go and do some great hikes like those.

Oh, and those hikes would add up to WAY more that 25 miles. Way to go!

Enjoy your kids while they still can, and want to play with you. And yes I do have pictures.
