External battery pack

Postby wesley » Sat Oct 26, 2013 1:54 am

I play GPS app and Google map a lot on my phone. Then it comes with the problem of short battery life. I want an external battery pack, probably as large as 10000mAh, to keep my phone charged when on few days' trips. Do you have a good external battery pack?

My buddy has a Goal Zero solar kit that has a battery pack IIRC. He got it for his iPhone and is very happy with it, a plus is it will recharge any battery. Also if you're tech savvy you can make your own, better and cheaper, from what I understand. But I'm a moron when it comes to that stuff.

Thanks. I've got a RAVPower 10400mAh at Amazon. Have got my hands on it for a few weeks. There're two USB ports, with one of 1A and the other of 2A. The device can charge a mobile phone and a tablet simulataneously. For those who want to have a look. You can check it here:

I like the RAVPower units. A co-worker has the 10,400 mAh and I have one of the smaller units. We've both been happy so far (1+ years).
