Taken on 5-6-07 on the way to San Jacinto via Devils Slide trail.
I've always thought this was unusual. Not just the pink gators, skirt thing and that hat but that she was doing the PCT trail, ALONE! sorry but that just freaks me out! (zip? you sure she wasn't standing behind you when you took that San B shadow pic? just checking...)

The wrap weighs about as much as a bear bell, and helps to fend off the vicious two-legged beasts - critical gear for a lone female hiker

I carry a camera when I hike and sometimes I see some people either carrying strange stuff or wearing funny stuff.
Today I saw three examples. All are on the Sam Merill Trail.
Pink fuzzy shoes.


Orange socks! They were really bright!

Strange and interesting I'm not sure about those pink shoes will work well for hiking...but in any case maybe she's comfortable wearing it and to match up her get up for the day. Nice thread Fight On, I like what you have here, can't wait to see more of your fun stuff
