I had a more elaborate post in the works, but it got "eaten." The forum logs one off very quickly. I'm used to being logged off after a few minutes, but now it's sometimes under 30 seconds.

It seems somewhat erratic.
Here's a summit shot:

- Summit of San Gorgonio Mtn (11,500')
An homage to nature:

- Flower near Plummer Meadows along the Falls Creek Trail

- Lemon lilly
High Meadow Springs, a nice backcountry camp site

- High Meadow Springs #1

- High Meadow Springs #2

Thanks for the TR Jim, looks like you had a good climb. That's such a Big mountain, and the contrast from the magical forest and meadows, to the stark and barren, (still beautiful), massive granite summit block is wild. Which way did you come up, (I'm not real family with San G, although I've been up Vivian many times, From the NW (Forsee / Dollar lake, that's loong), and many moons ago past the plane wreckage on the NE side. Did you run into lots of hikers? And lastly, are "Adventure" parking passes still required, (I use my America the Beautiful pass), which I believe suffices.
Looks like you had good weather, nice to see spring is still going strong in the alpine region, scott
