Car break in at Vivian TH

Howdy all

Warning — some piece of poop tried to get into my car at Vivian creek TH yesterday. I couldn’t lock my car or set the alarm last night. The shit weasel broke off a Slim Jim in my driver’s side door. I was parked at the top in front of the sign. Getting a new lock. There was nothing of value in my car or trunk.

Thanks for the heads up Ellen, bummer for indeed. That hasn't been your favorite parking area for sure!
I know over the years similar things have happened there, and also at Painted Canyon (Mecca Hills rec area) TH, as well as a few others, (including the end of Ramon Rd in Palm Springs), for those wanting the more gradual beginning to Skyline.
I'd imagine you saw some of the flood devastation that area suffered a while back. ss
