CLIMB FOR HEROES REGISTRATION – GET ON IT!

If you missed it, here is a gentle reminder that registration for Climb for Heroes 2016 is officially open. We are excited to be partnering with Crowdrise to streamline our event registration process. If you haven’t signed up yet, please check out our new and improved site at www.climbforheroes.org and read on for our "UPDATE" on what your generous support means to our veterans. Our California training ground, Mount Baldy, is ready for us to show up in force and we are excited to see you, your co-workers, family, children, and four legged friends bright and early on Sunday, April 3rd.

EVENT DETAILS

If you have not already registered, please sign up to join us on April 3rd at www.climbforheroes.org. This event is planned for all ages, fitness levels, and degrees of experience. There is information on the site if you need any further explanation or motivation to sign up. Remember that registration is limited, and the event is affordable. We ask a $100 minimum donation (tips and tricks on how to fundraise live on the crowdrise website!, and we promise that you will get much more than $100 worth of food, drink, swag, memories and inspiration to last you a lifetime. If you can't join us, consider making a safe, online, tax-deductible donation to the cause. Our injured veterans and their families appreciate and benefit greatly from your support.

UPDATE!

Because of your support, USMC Sgt. Retired Julian P. Torres reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro on Veterans Day, November 11th 2015. This life-changing event was captured live in a CNN interview with correspondent Brooke Baldwin (click here to see that footage). Your support at events like Climb for Heroes and Cycle for Heroes makes our mission of helping one vet and one family at a time possible. Just a few short days after Climb for Heroes 2016, USMC SSGT Charlie Linville and The Heroes Project team will leave for Mount Everest. We are truly excited to finally reach the top of the world. Please come out to wish Charlie luck as he completes our 7 summit commitment.

FOLLOW US!

Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter - and keep an eye on our website www.theheroesproject.org for important updates and information on the foundation. Stay tuned!!

Thanks for the reminder, Ellen! And that was a great video, sdpacatc! I was at the summit last year when the throngs of supporters came up, and it was especially moving to see our hero(s) make it to the top! Wish I could be there this year but I have to work :-(.
