we will be visiting Palm Springs for a week at the end of the month - where to go SUP - in San Diego and is there a good shop to rent from?

If you have a lot of ocean/surfing SUP experience, you may be in luck with autumn swells. You'll need to do other legwork if that is your intent as your trip nears. (rental cars usu. not PB friendly for surfari)
