Mt. San Jacinto Outdoor Recreation

I'm surprised I haven't heard more about this hike. One of my favorites so far. It seems like a decent acclimation hike leading up to Mt. Whitney if you're in the area: Here's a link to the first trip report and full gallery: Duck Pass, August 16 2015

Duck Pass is nice. I have a vague recollection that I did not care for the beginning of the trail, but the upper part is great. Even greater if you have the time to drop down the other side. Have you tried the hikes out of Rock Creek?

I've hiked up there twice. Awesome place!
