Descending Mount Langley, with a giant cairn, Trail Peak, Olancha Peak, and Old Army Pass
I was mainly just trying to keep the kettle boiling with that last post.
Mainly to torment the self-righteous cairn-kickers.
You would think that nobody in their right mind would want to go to the trouble of knocking down a cairn of THAT magnitude, and yet Sequoia Park felt the need to put up that sign. And they also felt the need to go to all that trouble building those humongous cairns. Those cairn-kickers really ARE a troublesome lot.
And those mega-cairns also stopped the equally-ornery and self-righteous cairn creators from bothering to make any new ones. Because, let's face it: Anything they had time to make would be utterly pathetic and useless in comparison. And yet the NPS still needed that sign to help dampen their incessant desire to create more idiotic little cairns.
Maybe we should all simply go back and re-read the title of this thread!
