Hiking with Kids: Snow Play in Running Springs, Feb 27 2015

My wife and I are from New England and we thought it was horrible that our son is 2+ years old and had never been sledding. I took last Friday afternoon off to get him up into the mountains to see some snow:

And best of all, the sled can be used as a pulk for winter overnights. :)

Thanks for sharing! I have a smile on my face but I miss playing in the snow with my grandkids who have moved far away. Kids young and old love snow. I thought it was sadly funny when you threw a snowball for Riley to fetch and he couldn't figure out where it went. Dogs love snow, too!

That was payback for knocking over and eating the snowman we were trying to build. :D
