National Forest closures October 2007

One could see this coming -- the ANF and SBNF are closed.

Also closed are the Cleveland and Los Padre forests.

And a great many of the state parks. It appears that the National entities (SMMNRA, JTNP) are open as are many local entities.

They're closed. No updates, although suppossedly they were meeting today to discuss the duration of the closure.

San Gorgonio Wilderness is open!

I just got a permit for hiking/camping 11-9 and 11-10 in the San Gorgonio area.
It looks like it's open!
