HJ, I have USDA-Forest Service "A Guide to the San Gorgonio Wilderness." <snip>What errors should I beware of?

Hmm. Don't have the map in front of me, but here's a couple off the top of my head:
<snip>
Some old trails are trace trails, hard to follow due to the ravages of time and disuse.
<snip>
-Wildwood direct trail

HJ, Where is Wildwood direct trail?
<snip>
Others were closed because the USFS didn't want people on them for various reasons.
-Lower Dollar Lake foot trail
-Upper Dollar Lake foot trail
<snip>

HJ, Is this the trail from South Fork Meadows to Dollar Lake Saddle?

:oops: Lol. I meant Wildhorse not Wildwood. There's a trace trail that can be mostly followed from Wildhorse TC straight down the drainage back to SR 38 (or up from 38 to the TC). Wildhorse is on the N side of 38 east of S Fork CG. It's not in the SGW, but since it's so close (and the trail camp is actually quite nice), I mention it.

Yes, exactly.
