Truth be told, I don't like "fast" or "slow" so much as I like wilderness.

Some days, it's fun to explore a long trail, moving fast and taking in many miles of wonder in one trip.

Some days, it's fun to go slow, and listen to the wind in the trees, to stop and watch the clouds roll in...

I once had a 31 mile trip planned on the Forsee Trail. I got about a mile in, changed my mind, and lay down on a big fallen tree for about an hour, watching the tops of the pine trees sway in the breeze. Then I got up and went home. That's not even slow, it's a stop.

Fast, Slow, Stopped. All wilderness.

I appreciate the various posts above, I find they reflect my feelings as well.

Incidentally, while rude drivers can be annoying, it might serve as a stress reducer to remember that even they can be useful. When I'm driving back home from a Skyline adventure on the 10 fwy, and some nut passes me going 100, I do appreciate his volunteering to draw off the CHP so that I can drive in the left lane and not have to worry about getting a ticket. Go Speedy. I can't afford that pricey ticket, so don't cut off Felipe  but thanks for taking that ticket for me.

Sounds great to me folks.
I totally agree with everyone here.
The wilderness is just that, "wild" and "necessary"
for each and everyone of us.
I plan on keeping it that way, hope each and everyone
of you will help in that fight; to that end.......
Be they Richard Petty, Dale Earnhart (oops he died going fast)
or the Turtle from the old race between him and the Hare!

See ya at the raceway track......damm
Meant See ya at the top.

That was my observation also. I think it actually worked better if I removed the URL tag.
