Charleton peak March 11

Howdy All :)

Sally and I have been experiencing severe snow deprivation. The cure -- go look for some on the north side of San Gorgonio.

Donned snowshoes shortly after leaving the trail. We headed up the right side of Christmas tree hill. This is our first good view of Charleton's east shoulder.

And lower

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of snow up high. It was also nice to make the first snowshoe tracks to Charleton -- there was evidence that a skier had preceded us.

Those north chutes looked very tempting...another day.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen
