This is from a local photographer in my area. I drove down the 38 just before the storm, and it was dark and mean looking outside. Anybody happen to be up their for this?

Thanks so much for the link to the photo! I live in the Loma Linda Hills area and have a good view of San G. After the clouds had cleared yesterday, I noticed that its summit was covered in snow--an amazing sight.

Global Warming, I'd say it was caused by Global Cooling. Ha Ha. Amazing site indeed.

Any way about the "snow" there has been a big debate about it on the San G. board and the conclusion is that it wasn't snow but hail. Either way it made everyone excited for winter.http://members.boardhost.com/sgva/msg/1188743567.html

There was no snow on San G. I just got back from a hike to the summit via Vivian Creek.

There was lots of white stuff left over from yesterday. It was definitely hail. We walked through miles of it, mostly about 6" deep. We also ended up getting hailed and rained on.

I just got back. I will post more comments and some pictures tomorrow.

Global warming is a climate event and that is different than the weather event we had on San Gorgonio.

But what caused that weather event? HEAT pushing the clouds high into the atmosphere where the moisture cools and came down as hail and violent rain.

So who knows, maybe global warming DID have something to do with it.
