Those kids rescued last month in Holy Jim canyon in Orange County had meth in their car (that explains the hallucinations):

Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I'm gonna have to side with the officials and agree the kid(s) should have to float some of the bill on this one. Young and stupid. Doing illegal activity that put other innocent people (in this case, the rescuers) in danger, no different than drinking and driving as far as I'm concerned. Not cool.
