A few pics from Thursday hiking the Momyer to Vivian creek loop ..

Good hike but was longer day than i anticipated. Momyer trail to Dollar Lake saddle took 5 hours. Was expecting that to take under 4 hours. Long day but a good hike and perfect conditions on the mtn. 23 miles per GPS taking 11 hours total time including walking down the road from Vivian back to Momyer trailhead where i had parked. The wildflowers were nice.

Anyone know the correct pronunciation for Momyer? Is it mom-yer, momy-er, mom-y-er?

Great wildflower pics, Florian.

Easy to recall the pronunciation of Momyer trail.

It rhymes with how you said you felt, on flickr.

Mo Myer : Mo' Tire'

Mo Myer

Folks at the MCRS were telling me its MOY-MER.
I still call it MOM-YER.

Whats in a name...

A rose by any other color would still smell as sweet. :-)
