Im looking to create a community of people in Southern California who like to do dayhikes of 30+ miles a day, multi day backpacking trips, and class 3+ scrambling

30+ miles? you're goal should be to minimize miles while maximizing elevation gain. those are the best hikes

thanks for the suggestion Ze. The description now says "This forum is for people in Southern California who like doing hardcore hikes in all seasons (15+ miles a day, 5,000ft+ elevation gain, class 3+ scrambling, snowshoeing and camping in winter)"

And brush. Don't forget heavy, dense brush. Plus bonus points for poison oak and nettles. I mean, c'mon, if you're going to get out of bed in the morning, you'd better make sure it's worth your while.
