Great photos & TR Sally! I especially like the sunset & then sunrise pictures at the summit of Whitney. You have a good way with words. The following sentence and many others like it really painted a perfect picture in my minds eye.

"The mass, Eagle Scout Peak, was shrouded in misty clouds. The lake was Precipice Lake. It was the eeriest, most beautiful alpine scene I've ever seen.

Eek. That drop-off gives me the heebie jeebies. Those are some beautiful pictures though. That Precipice Lake is one place I would love to see. Thanks for sharing those Sally!

Thank you, everyone! My personal favorite is the one of Precipice Lake that Larry turned into a panorama.

The drop-off at Hamilton Gorge gave me the willie nillies, which is about as bad as the heebie jeebies!
