Excellent pictures Harry and interesting trip report. The exposure to Russel is a bit scary.
Thanks

That was a nice report. It's nice to see something up in the Sierras when it's still over 100ยบ down here in the desert.
Thanks.

What a report, Harry! It certainly looks like you had quite an adventure. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I commend anyone who climb anything that rough. To be honest, seeing these pictures and reading these reports totally intimidates me. LOL.
I DO plan on getting in some sort of climbing, but I may have to take some baby steps before actually reaching that goal. For now, I'll do some simple hiking and bird watching. Either way, great photographs! Love the site!

Nice. That looks way more difficult and precarious than the MR .
So much scree is really debilitating. It just drains your energy trying to make progress while sliding backward.

Wow, you like that exposure, huh? On the picture where it says, "Mark, deciding our next move." ...my next move would have been heading for a cheeseburger at the portal. I'm glad there's someone out there who doesn't find that too spooky to enjoy!

Thanks for the comments everyone. The route really was not to bad. There were a few places where you had to watch your footing but overall a very enjoyable route. I would definitely say it is a step up from the Mountaineers route though
