Anyone taken a look at this trail? I finally checked it off my list this August.

I did the complete 19 mile loop starting at String Lake and going up Paintbrush Canyon then down Cascade Canyon back to the Lake.
You can read up on it at dayhiker.com.

This is a great dayhike. Not difficult and not too high - 10700ft.
But never a dull moment - always something new to see.

If the weather is good, bring your swim trunks, or get your hiking shorts wet, but you can take a refreshing dive into Lake Solitude at the mid point.

Hi Whitney,
Looks like a wonderful hike. I can see why it was on your list! Thanks for the very nice photos. (That lake looked a little too chilly for me!)

Great pictures. Thanks for posting. Grand Teton NP is one of my favorite places. Did a long day hike there in 2007 but I don't recall the name. The trail ended, or I should say it became vertical right below Middle Teton. Unbelievable views.

Thanks for the great pics. I worked up in Yellowstone for a summer and hiked many of the trails in and around the Tetons. I really miss the wildlife up there, as it wasn't rare to see moose, bears and eagles catching trout! very cool place.
