Mt. San Jacinto Outdoor Recreation

Went up to Independence Friday night-started in the wi hours of the moring saturday-summited Tyndall Saturday and hiked out sunday morning. Thanks to Zach - Lik2Hik and Taco.








Williamson, my next venture but i think i will wait to do it in the snow.

We renamed it Advil Camp

Zach kept saying we took the west rib up, wouldn't that be the east rib up and west rib down????

Skunk_it was too cold up there, the wind was not in our favor.

Hi Tina:
The route we went up is called the North Rib. If you look at it on the map, the orientation of the route is pretty much north/south. The long ridge that is visible in the pictures, that forms the backbone of Tyndall is called the Northwest Ridge.
The route we took down the mountain??? Um, errr, we'll unofficially call it Tina's Traverse!

I like that-Tina's Traverse....

Yeah, I have no clue what I am talking about. It's the North Rib.
