Good point Steve...a fridge may be heavy, but 27 miles of extension cord would weigh a lot more.

Actually, I doubt there's a refrigerator in there. It's probably filled with something light, like water.

Hey, that sparks a thought. If we can get Florian to carry a giant (waterproof) box up to the cache location, then we can get Fernando to carry that much water up fresh each week, we can frolic and splash about on our way up Skyline. Florian, you in? Steve, can you sneak that much water into Fern's pack without him noticing?

Just noticed, the brand of refrigerator is LG. Good eye for quality!

Perfect training for you, Tina.

Actually, since I'm such  a nice guy, I volunteer to have you carry me up Skyline. Yes, I'm probably smaller than a refrigerator, but you have to start somewhere. And besides I tell better jokes than refrigerators.

How about a water cooler with a 5 gallon bottle on top? We can all take turns carrying up a couple of fresh Sparklets bottle once a week. Then no one ever has to carry any water in their pack. They can just drink at the 5700' notch water cache and continue up the trail.
