So what is the best sleeping pad for the snow! Oh ya, I sleep kinda cold! I was going to buy a Exped downpad 7, but there back ordered. And I need it before the 10th. of April!

I like the thick ensolite pad with a thermorest on top.

I have tried the Neo with a zlite and it had some cold spots still. Is the ensolite pads warmer that the zlite?

Buy the Exped DownMat 7 - it must be available somewhere. You only need to bring one pad if you get that one and it'll keep you nice and warm. I have a 7 and a 9, but I never use the 9 because the 7 is warm enough and weighs a lot less than the 9. The 7 I have is the short size, but I'm only 5' 1.5" tall; so it works for me.

It's best to have a rigid and inflatable combination for snow and ice.
If you rely on an inflatable pad and it punctures, then you're in trouble.
Many take a ridge-rest type closed-cell pad with inflatable pad on top.

I invested in a Therm-a-rest Toughskin and love it.
My older Pacific Outdoor Hyper Mtn pad is for saving weight.
