Fern and I knocked 5 hrs off our previous trip up Villager and Rabbit the day after Galena. We were just scared of getting caught in the dark out there and having to get help finding our way home.

we did hurry..

Thanks for a great trip report and slides :)

Here is another super hiker who plans to do 4700 miles in 7 months in Alaska and Yukon. He has sponsors.
He has already completed a 7778 mile sea to sea hike.

honestly Norma, we hiked most of it. we maybe ran 3 or 4 miles. but we hiked as fast as we could in the state we were in. we had packs and liters and shoulder straps digging in..not set for running really.

Steve, at first I was a little sad that I didn't get to do Rabbit with you, but then again maybe I'll be able sometime when either (a) I'm in better shape or (b) you're not in such a big hurry!
Fun pictures, as usual.
