im not absolutely sure where we parked, i think it was off the 2 through wrightwood. I'll find out and let you know, or if Ryans on here he can answer.
we've gone over to the Yucaipa ridge a couple of times over the last month or so, some really wild looking stuff over there. looked like a nice trip you guys had.

Incredible pics, and as always, the captions keep me laughing. I just got crampons & axe. I hope to someday have adventures like yours. How did you acquire your climbing skills? Did you take classes, or did you just hang out a lot with people who knew what they were doing? Any suggestions on how to safely get some experience?

Joe, you saw the ramp eh ? some skiers must have built it, there were ski tracks coming down the bottom part of that gully below the waterfall. you can see the shovel scoops when you look at the ramp.
where the hell have you been ? we gonna go do that west ridge up Rabbit before the weather makes it harder and you have to carry 30 liters or what ?
Sally, just keep doing what your doing, it honestly looks like your on a collision course with lots more fun. I didnt take any classes, I just like it alot. it seems to grow from the wonder of being in nature, enjoying some exercise and healthy benefits, to morphing into a quest for adrenaline risk taking...be careful.

Nice work Steve, Fernando, Tina and Taco
The Baden Badasses, that's the new name for that group
Joe, I fairly sure the parking is open at Vincent Gap and that's where they parked.

Sally,
i recommend you take a Snow Travel course with Sierra Mountaineering International. i did. worth every penny and then some!
http://www.sierramountaineering.com
then every time you hike and climb in snow you will be increasing your skill and enjoying the great outdoors, in winter.
