Thanks for the pictures, bluerail. I enjoy seeing pictures from there. I was once on a villager-Rabbit overnight trip that was turned back because of coming dark clouds in the horizon on the second day. Everyone but I got to spend the night on Villager. I lagged behind and only got up to 5400 ft.
The scenery there was/is incredible to me. I am hoping to run into someone someday who can carry, among other essentials, 3 gallons of water for a 2-day trip up to Villager & Rabbit.
And when I have some money, I'll cheat and have a helicopter dropping supplies on Rabbit and Villager as I make my way down to S-22 from Toro :)

This lunatic is very much interested. Are you planning on taking the route shown on the map? I'm pretty sure I could handle it, but my pace might be painfully slow for you. I did a full C2C on Nov.7 and it took me about 14 hours (Palm Springs to Peak and back to tram). How would your route compare to C2C in difficulty?

Also, my guide book says that the area is only open October thru December. Seems like a big area to close off.
