I did Tyndall a few years ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. We were going to do Williamson but after spending the night at Anvil Camp and hiking up to Shepherd's Pass the next AM my buddy wasn't feeling up to it so decided to head down. I knew I wouldn't be able to summit Williamson and get back so I ditched my pack and did Tyndall instead and then hiked back out during an afternoon thunderstorm. It was a fun climb.

Doing the whole thing in a day is awesome! Congratulations.

Ze: Mount Williamson isn't as intimidating as it looks. Take a look at these pictures taken by Bob Burd - they will give you a good idea of what the Class 3 West Face Route (mostly Class 2 with one small Class 3 section) is like:

At the same time, Williamson is harder than Tyndall. Not technically harder but just more exhausting.

I went up the endless rock hopping Northwest side. It wasn't too hard but I hiked back to the trailhead that day. I think when my buddy say Williamson he knew he didn't feel up to it. It looks big and far.

i happened to head up the north part to where the NW ridge connects, I didn't like the exposure right there.maybe it was just the altitude talking though
