looks like from where I am here in San Marino, somebody blew up Iron Mountain! The whole east fork area looks like it's on FIRE!

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST -- A brush fire has broken out in the Angeles National Forest.

The fire is burning at 9501 N. San Gabriel Canyon Road near Highway 39, says Los Angeles County fire Inspector Fred Stowers.

The blaze was reported at 4:42 p.m. and has already burned 35 acres.

Stowers says L.A. County helicopters and a camp crew are en route.

Southwest end of Morris Reservoir.

Huh...what a coincidence that a fire was started right as a few days of hot dry weather sets in.

I realize it's almost impossible to prevent arson. But the ones they catch should be drawn and quartered, publicly.

And the meat should be hung next to one of your camera's so we can get more shots of the "cougars" Very Happy Now that would be "Just" punishment Very Happy
