dude like what kinda hairdo is that!
nice clear day, some of those pictures are really nice.
that hike always reminds me of when I went there about 20 years ago.
On a Friday decided to leave with two of my friends after work in my 1974 datsun pickup. open bed. On the way to my house a building inspector pulled up beside us at a stop sign and I invited him to go along. Told him we would be leaving at six pm and if he wanted to go to show up. he did!
We left at 6 pm with two in the back and one up with me, and got to the parking lot under half dome at 12 midnight.
woke up at 6 am saturday and hiked to the top and got back down to my truck at 6 pm and all jumped in and drove home and were back at 12 midnight.
fun! :D

Don't be jealous of my hair, Bundy. I have blonde flowing locks that are just hard to control!

But that sounds like a nice, quick trip. We went up the night before, and drove back to Bay area after the hike. Even that took 4 hrs driving (and more for stop for food) so we didn't get back till late evening. Would be nice to stay two nights up there.

It's really nice, you definitely should. It's moderately tough.

The summit has some concave portions, so we had someone stand away on one tip and take a pic looking at the other tip. It's one of the 'classic' shots.

Americans? No way! There's no remote or iPod involved. Why would an American go there?

Nice stuff, Joe. What time did you get to the bottom of the cables? How bad were the crowds? The crowds scare me a lot more than the rock does. Stopping kills.
