Cy - Thanks for the link - that's a tough climb they did over rugged terrain. I've done Inyo from Union Wash and that's the way I'm going to do Keynot when I get around to it - that's hard enough for me.

For those that love a long dayhike with lots of elevation gain/loss and an immense appreciation for desolote and wild landscape, this hike is for you. Make sure to bring a spare tire or two. The 3 hour drive on a 4x4 dirt road to the "trailhead" is rough. :x
