My wife and I just returned from a 5-day backpack into the North Fork of Big Pine Creek. We camped in between First Lake and Second Lake. Ahh, the High Sierra. . .

Perfect weather, although the last two sunsets were a bit smoky from the Tepihite Fire in NW Kings Canyon.

yah kgw. man those are great pictures. I get butterflies in my stomach looking at them. I've been up there but it was 35 years ago. I really remember it like it was last week. I wanna go back up there.
