Chris does great work. I had him model a pack after the gossamer gear mariposa for me in black xpack material a year or two ago. It turned out great - http://www.zimmerbuilt.com/zb1-mcconnell.html. Currently, both my packs are ULA packs. I've been very happy with the selection and quality of cottage gear makers.

I've got a GG Mariposa. It's my favorite overnight backpack that I've ever had (and trust me I've had a few). Fits well, light, and comfortable.

Here it is in the Sierra near Yosemite this past summer:

Here's the granddaughter's Zimmerbuilt.
I must admit, I picked out the straps.

This is the son's Zimmer. 2,000 c.i. single compartment with daisy chains. Waterproof Xpac fabric @ 35 ounces. HMG Icepack belt. Rated with stays for 30-35 pounds.
