Banff in Canada also had required wires for hanging food away from bears, but their designated campsites were not as plush as this open cabin.

We slip on sandy boulders – back east they loose traction on wet trails.

Are these really edible? If there’s any doubt, the term “fungus” or “toadstool” might be safer. BTW, what camera took so many great closeups of all the unfamiliar flora and fauna?

Anyway, sorry it took me so long to fully contemplate your Trip Report Sally. Thanks for sharing!
