That poor bastard! I've never felt so bad for a snake :shock:

Since this topic is already ...um off... The Western Fence Lizard (Blue Belly) has a blood protein that inhibits the spread of Lyme disease in ticks, presumably keeping the illness at lower levels here in the west. :wink:

Nice, although Lyme disease does exist in California (but NOTHING like the levels found back east).
