Finally have HOOD pics

Southern California and far-away places. Hiking, wildlife, cycling etc.

There are great pictures especially the first one. I have always wanted to hike mt hood how difficult was this compared to anything in southern california?

Hi Harry- not that difficult, it depends on the route you take but mostly the weather is the biggest factor with mt. hood. we took a little harder approach going around the northwest side and up from there. the elevation is 11,2(something) not that high so if you can do san g. or san jac in the snow you will be fine. i highly recommend timberline guides for the first ascent.
