Ah yes, the Tioga Gas and Gift Mart - excellent place for food and people watching. Keep in mind it's seasonal, and usually corresponds with the Yosemite Tioga entrance. I thinks it's open from about late April to early November. So, if it's a destination now, best to call ahead.

Have done some winter hiking on Glass Mountain (with snowshoes). Interesting place, and understand it's on a big caldera. I thought the only active caldera was in Yellowstone, but apparently that's not the case.
