Crystal Range Traverse (trip report)

Postby eric1234 » Wed Mar 25, 2015 1:04 pm

a ridge traverse of the entire Crystal Range (from Tells to Pyramid Peak) in the southwestern Lake Tahoe area

I think a key factor which allowed me to complete the traverse in winter were the low snow levels, which are currently at 10% of average.

I guess there has to be some upside to the drought.

Eric, you're my hero! Great work! As always, you write an awesome trip report full of amazing photos. I particularly liked the sunset shots on Day 2. Camping up there and seeing those colors must have been a powerful and beautiful experience.
