I recognize the voice of the spotter plane pilot. He was guiding drops on the Mountain fire. These guys are amazing. So professional but you can tell they love what they are doing too.

Anyone know what the "coverage level" term refers to? I'm guessing something to do with the amount of retardant to drop?

Number of gallons per 100 ft2. I'm pretty sure the levels are still 1-7, so the max is 7 gallons/100ft2 and 1 is the minimum.
